Meistersinger No1 Manual 40mm

The original MeisterSinger but a different model nevertheless. With its 40-millimeter case diameter it is three millimeters smaller than the classic model in our collection. However, developing this new version was not as easy as you might think. It is not enough to transfer all the characteristics of a successful model to a new, smaller design, as character cannot be simply scaled down. Each element needs to be re-balanced to suit the reduced space. That’s why we are all the more pleased that the new, slim version has the same design qualities as the original from the functional, easily legible typography under the domed sapphire glass to the engraved, sixfold screwed steel back. Moreover, the N 01 – 40 mm version is powered by the same Swiss-made, hand-wound movement as the larger model, the Sellita SW 210.
